Roachdale, Dec 10 - Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Myers, 70, who died Monday were conducted at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Barnard Baptist Church in charge of Rev. Roy Britton. Burial at Roachdale cemetery. Mrs. Myers expired at 1 o'clock Monday morning following a 10 days' illness with paralysis at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cora Alice Plunkett, east of Barnard. The deceased was born Sept 19, 1864 in Putnam County, daughter of Squire and Emaline Eggers. She was married Aug 15, 1886 to Jess T. Myers. Surviving besides the husband are two daughters, Mrs. Cora Alice Plunkett at whose home she died and Mrs. Bertha Bell of New Maysville; a son, Cordis Myers of Roachdale, two sisters, Mrs. Martha Gordon and Mrs. Sarah Alexander of near New Maysville; a brother, Mathew Eggers of near Portland Mills and 12 grandchildren. – thanks muches to mw
